Outreach

"For I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me drink,
I was a stranger and you welcomed me,
I was naked and you clothed me,
I was sick and you visited me,
I was in prison and you came to me."

Matthew 25:35-36

Here at PACC we try to care for - and about - our neighbors, both locally and globally. It may mean bringing a meal to someone in the midst of a rough time, donating food for (or time to) the Arlington Food Pantry, participating in The Walk for Hunger, going on a mission trip to Honduras to help build some houses, or writing an inmate in prison. These are some of the hands-on activities members at PACC are involved with.

In addition, part of Outreach's responsibility is to make contributions to support a wide variety of programs at the local, national, and international level.

Click here Our Donations at Work if you wish to see more information about where our donations have gone... or programs that are near to our heart.

Restorative Justice is gaining support as an alternative to the current judicial system, and is a concept that Christian Outreach is very interested in. We have several members who are actively looking for ways to get involved.

Briefly, the concept is seeing "crime" as a "HARM" that needs to be addressed by the victim, the community, and the perpetrator.

Click here Restorative Justice if you wish further information on that topic.
